Laura is a nationally certified teacher with over 20 years experience. She is a former National Writing Project Fellow and has experience working with writers at all levels.
Laura describes herself as a passionate teacher and learner with many established areas of expertise, as well as several newer, developing interests. She believes the reason she has been able to stay in the education field so long is the fact that she herself still enjoys learning.
Literacy, Visual and Performance Arts have always been a part of her life. Writing, Storytelling, Painting and Puppeteering are comfortable avenues of expression for Laura. Over the last few years, she has become more interested in the role of technology in learning, communication, and personal expression. This interest led her to discovering lvs online.
