Oh my. I am just so stuffy today. I am sure it’s allergy related but it still doesn’t help me feel better. I am taking my medications, like a good patient, lol. I’m drinking a lot of hot tea to help and making sure I get plenty of fluids. It seems like warm compresses help me too so I’ve been doing that off an on as well.
I have thought about trying the nasal irrigation and have tried it a few times but haven’t really had a lot of success with that. I have when I wen tto the doctor’s and had it performed but the ones I’ve tried at home haven’t really worked.

I now have a headache. This could be caused from a variety of reasons for me. I have allergies and sinus issues which I believe is the culprit this time.
I’ve also been running around like mad lately with my kids, their sports, work, and volunteer work.
So for the rest of the evening, I plan on taking it easy, sipping a cup of hot tea with lots of honey, and drinking plenty of fluids. I will also make sure I am taking my allergy meds as well.
So…if you suffer from seasonal allergies, share with us. If you have any tips, ideas, or suggestions, post them here for everyone to benefit

Tonight I am wiped out. It has been a very LONG day. I completed a patient assessment, did some paperwork, took the kids shopping AGAIN for more food supplies and clothing. And then there was a very long, muggy, humid soccer practice that I ran a bit longer than I had intended. Thankfully, we are done. I am done. Whew. Tomorrow we start back into somewhat of a schedule. Well, it’s as much of a schedule as one can have with three kids, sports, friends, activities, and life in general. So for tonight, I plan to take a long shower, soak my tired feet, and have a nice cup of decaf tea.
