I was laughing at your comment about the addiction…and I was pretty sure there was no cure. However, I haven’t searched for one to be honest, so that’s where it is. Looking forward to this class in hopes you can unscramble my thinking to work with the program and not against it;O)

I am very new to web design and am wanting to design a site that will allow me to sell prints of my photographs. Is this something that I can do with Joomla!? Is this something that I would benefit by taking this class? Thanks.

Well done for registering! The course uses 1.5.10 and is designed for coders and non-coders. What it would teach you is to make your own site in a logical manner and how to use various extensions to make your life easier… What you seem to mean is that you want to ‘migrate’ your existing Joomla! 1x site to Joomla! 1.5x – something everyone should be doing soon. This migration is not covered in the Fast Track Course. In fact migration is not that easy but there is a tool to help you:

Hi! I registered for this class..probably one of the first..I stayed up until 12am to register because I understand this class gets full quick, along with all the other classes.
I have a website that was already built for me using joomla 1.0, will I be able to upload the new version for my site? I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE IN WEB DESIGNING, let alone the lingo. I do not want to loose any of hte contents that I already have on my site. Again, I have no experience. Will this class help?
