Student Projects – September Session

August 23rd, 2009 Kat Posted in Student Projects | 6 Comments »

Classrooms will open Monday, August 24th for the September session. The first lesson will post on Saturday, August 29th. After completing each lesson, students will submit their assignment for review on the private class message board. We would also like students of all Flash classes to post their movie project here on the Flash Class blog. Share what you learned with others and show off your creations!

  1. This is the first week of the Flash intermeadiate class. We learned about masks, motion paths and importing images into Flash.

  2. In week 2 of the intermeadiate course we learnt about labels & comments and how to use scenes in oour movies. We also used the “goto” action.

  3. Hello

I am in the Flash FX part 1 class. In lesson one I learned about masking techniques in animation.
    I really enjoyed this lesson.

  4. Week 3 of the intermeadiate class had us making animated graphics (that’s the multicoloured ball), movie clips with buttons in them (that’s my movie) and buttons with movie clips in them (you guessed it, that’s what my buttons are – the rollover effect is the movie clip). The timeline may be neat but my head is spinning from it all!

  5. Week 4 of the intermeadiate class was mostly about adding sound files to our movies. We also made a single movie clip which had all the other movie clips in it. So this movie has just 1 scene, 1 frame & 3 layers – very compact!

  6. Week 5 of the intermeadiate class was about making an interactive movie & using a preloader to keep you patient while the movie loads. Still using movie clips to keep the timeline small (But not as small as last week).
