I used to take photos-snapshots of family holidays, birthdays, Xmas etc. till I semi-retired in Oct.2002. This is when I wanted to pursue my hobby seriously & I was introduced to Photoshop & LVS by Margaret Hockney (who is taking Photography with DSLR course with me at present). And since then I have learned a lot from my LVS tutors and fellow classmates. I have taken 10 LVS courses so far & am looking forward to 2d part of Digital Darkroom with Photoshop by Ron Lacey.

I take photographs for a friend in Australia who makes jigsaw puzzles from the images. Sometimes he won’t use a picture that I think is good so I’ll rework it so he’ll like it. I did this recently with 2 bees on a sunflower. He loved the reworked version I sent him. I love working with my PSPXI program.

October 2nd, 2008 at 1:41 pmI’m enrolled in Digital Darkroom w/PSPP X1 and I’m finding it to be a powerful foundation for retouching digital images. I’m looking forward to the continuation of my digital imaging education through LVS Online. –Stuart
P.S. Most of my photography is done with an Olympus Stylus 710 in “autopilot” modes. Since I would like to know what I’m doing, this series of classes is fairly high on my list of classes to take at LVS Online.

October 8th, 2008 at 4:26 pmI just completed the Build series this time around. The classes are very good and the instructors are dedicated. I can’t wait for classes to start up again here at LVS!
October 10th, 2008 at 11:36 amRight now I’m taking the Astrological Card Reading Class. Photography is my first love, and this class would hold a lot of interest for me. Will check out when the next class is being held.
