Hillary’s Home in Hawaii

Just a quick update to let y’all know that, after a short visit to my son in Palm Desert, CA (who has wonderful lemon and grapefruit trees), I am finally back where I belong, on the beach on the island of Oahu. I can go to sleep listening to the waves and feel the soft trade winds, scented with the fragrance of a multitude of tropical floral scents. This is truly paradise!
Along with all this, I am blessed with three great-grandchildren I can now begin “bonding” with, as well as the company of my talented nurse/pilot daughter, who is an artist, sings and plays beautiful guitar. I would be remiss in not mentioning my dear ex-SIL who worked so hard to prepare a place for me. Both he and my grandson did a wonderful job painting my room while my daughter worked diligently unpacking boxes.
Though I’m not completely settled in, I hope to be able to spend more time blogging, as well as teaching at LVS.
Just sign me,

I can sense the relief of you being back home Hillary.
It is truly a wonderful feeling and equally wonderful hearing those lovely ocean waves breaking.
I’m sure by now you can guess I’m in the blogging class
It’s a bit of a muddle just now but hopefully it will all come together soon.
Your blog is nicely done and informative. When mine is the go I would like to add you and hopefully you will reciprocate.
Take care
Maureen
