Hey Val, thanks for sharing the link to the video/music – it’s awesome. I’ve always been a huge fan of Neil Diamond (which got passed down to my son) – but had never heard of this song before.

Oh wow… I liked the lyrics, reading them. (I’m not familiar with the song.) But combined with the drawing, it becomes a big WOW. I love journals, ink, blank pages, and the challenge to BE. Or, as I would say it, BECOME…

I agree that often the inspiration comes in the challenge of an assignment or need, often from a photo, a quotation, the edge of an idea in a novel, the sound of morning under the fog, the heat of sand beneath my feet, the tears of a granddaughter, a grandson’s head hanging because of a barely lost ballgame… possibilities in the pondering…
