Child Development

December 22nd, 2008 Marilyn

Anyone who spends time with a young person needs to have a good understanding of the process of child development. All children are different – in the way they grow and develop, in the ways that they learn, how they react emotionally to their surroundings and the people around them and in the way that they connect with others. Do you sometimes wonder how two children growing up in the same home with the same parents can be so different?

Genetics account for some of the differences between children; the environment counts for some of the differences. And some of the conditions that develop in children as they grow are hard to understand. Developmental disorders such as autism, some learning disabilities, and behavioral disabilities such as oppositional defiant disorder are still unexplained fully.

Here is a good opportunity to gain some knowledge of child development. This Child Development class will provide you with a wealth of useful information to help you to understand the process and the deviations from the process of growing up- physically, socially, emotionally, cognitively.

Sign up for the Understanding Child Development course today and make your connection with the young person in your life richer and deeper.

I look forward to having you in the class.
