I will be creating a blogroll of all student blogs this session. Please add a comment to this post that gives us the web address/URL of your new blog. You can also use the comments here to find a classmate’s blog to visit and comment on for the last portion of your assignment. You can also peruse the Hall of Fame blogs for inspiration and practice.

When I set up my blog with fantastico, it did not set up the email, so I am using my old email address.
Mine is definitely a work in progress!
So here is my work in progress! Would still like to have this on my own site, but I got bogged down and have now managed to figure out how to add some code within Wordpress, which makes me happy.

It’s still a little confusing figuring out where everything is to be posted around here. My blog is already listed on the left under current students’ blogs, so I’m thinking I don’t need to post it here. Oh, well, can’t do any harm.
Well, I think it’s set up, although I don’t see a wordpress URL in the three posts ahead of me, outside of the student name linking to their blog; I take it the post will be modified after I send a finished lesson alert?

Hi, can’t help but notice that only a couple of us have our names in default black type while the rest are links to blogs. Did we miss a memo? What lesson do I look in to convert the name on the class blog into a link to my blog, please?

@Pete,
When you comment on a blog, most comment forms have a name field, an email field and a URL or website field. If you enter in the your blog address in that web/URL field, your name will appear as a link instead of a static color.
Oh! I assumed, unwisely, that the website box was for those with a website of pages; didn’t even realize that a blog was considered a site, I thought the provider would be the site and the blog a sub-page of that.
Never assume….
