Oh dear -- I have been wrong at the top of my online voice! I CAN find you all by searching your names. Just didn't look beyond the "No goals using..." thingie. Just under that, though, are your links. So sorry... and red-faced.

When I type in bean it gives me all sorts of goals with the word bean in them. When I type in beanfair or sliloh I'm told there are no matches.

I think the search is for goals only... not people.

Anita, I agree with you about successes. I hadn't thought to do that on the site. I'm trying to sort which goals to put up, since I only have so many hours in a week. I want to work on those I've put up. Hmm..... Could get overwhelming very fast. I have so many things I want to do -- maybe just get them posted to work on later???

I feel a little confined on 43Things. For instance, I can't seem to comment on a goal if the goal-setter hasn't written an entry. I feel like I arrived there in a small box, and no one has opened the lid yet... I know I'll get the hang of it the more I use it. It all takes time.

Meanwhile, thanks, Bean. My goals are out in front of God and everyone else now, including me. That alone helps me focus on what I'm trying to accomplish. I've gotten much more specific with my written list that's not public yet.

I quite like 43 things. A good way to put goals out there in the open which (hopefully) will help me be more inclined to work at them. Also liked putting things in there that I had done...I can always use reminding of my successes ;)

Hmmm. Interesting. It seems to be quite particular about searching on names. It is surprising that bean doesn't show beanfair. Anita makes sense that you need to know sliloh. I can understand why they wouldn't allow a real name search. Some goals are easier to put out to the universe on alter identity and avatar than a real picture and name. But the beanfair not showing when searching bean is perplexing. I looked at their FAQ and realized they are in Seattle, makes me want to go knock on their door hehe

I've spent a good part of the day meandering about on 43 Things. One could lose herself there... and have to back up to find herself again. I finally found Anita, after reading Bean's comment in class about the stopping smoking. So I searched for "quit smoking" and found she'd left someone a comment.

Is there a better way to find the people you know and like without knowing their goals? (For instance, I typed in your name, Bean, and the searcher said there were no goals for Bean. Haha!)

I have added 5 goals so far... I'm here: http://www.43things.com/person/bhartsook

I have used up my cheers and left several comments about. I also subscribed to Bean's, Anita's, and Valerie's lists.

I am a nightowl too! I got a little squirmy in my chair even reading your admirable goals to reset your circadian body clock.
Speaking of owls, be sure to upload your owl to the 43 things profile as well as a link to your blog :)

I find this 43 Things site fascinating! It really gives a wonderful insight into what is motivating people, as well as a help to achieving goals.

I made a resolve to get up before 7.30 for two weeks in the hope of establishing a lifelong habit.

Being an owl, of course I tend to stay up verrry late, so this will be hard....
