School is starting soon at LVS Online!

I am working hard, revising the blogging classes for a new school year.  I am very excited about some of the new content planned for both the Blogging Basics and the Blogging for Fun, Fame and Fortune classes. The world is all a buzz about Twitter, so there will now be a brief introduction to Twitter in the Blogging Basics course. We will address how Twitter works with blogs to build an audience and contribute content. I have also added some new multimedia information into the Blogging Basics course, as many LVS bloggers are artistically inclined.

Last May, I incorporated some guest instructor content into the Blogging for Fun, Fame and Fortune course. We are taking it a step further this session, as at least one guest instructor will provide not only content but interaction on the class message board. Welcome to Week Two and your new blog!

I will be creating a blogroll of all student blogs this session. Please add a comment to this post that gives us the web address/URL of your new blog. You can also use the comments here to find a classmate’s blog to visit and comment on for the last portion of your assignment. You can also peruse the Hall of Fame blogs for inspiration and practice.

Blogging for Fun, Fame and Fortune, an online blogging class, is pleased to announce a new assistant! Anita has joined the staff of LVS Online as an assistant to the blogging class. Her role as assistant will be to offer support and guidance to students. She will be active on the boards and with comments on your blogs. This will free me up to spend more time on helping you refine your blog headlines and posts for maximum effect. She will also be able to answer some of your questions as you delve into the blogosphere.

Anita is an active blogger and has been an enthusiastic LVS Online student. I am excited that she will now be assisting me in this blogging course. She is a great supporter of bloggers!  Register now at LVS Online

Thank you for all of you that took the time to give your suggestions to the blogging course. LVS Online has found an instructor that will create a beginning hobby blogging class but it is still in the works. This course will provide instruction, opportunities and support for those of you that want to blog to change the world and/or your wallet. The more time that you devote to the lessons and assignments, the more opportunities to increase your fame and fortune. This class is for people that want to:

• Learn about the business of blogging
• Learn how to set up a WordPress blog
• Write posts that will attract attention in search engines and blog directories
• Build a social network to support your blog, your cause, your business
• Have fun!
