Blogging for Fun, Fame and Fortune, an online blogging class, is pleased to announce a new assistant! Anita has joined the staff of LVS Online as an assistant to the blogging class. Her role as assistant will be to offer support and guidance to students. She will be active on the boards and with comments on your blogs. This will free me up to spend more time on helping you refine your blog headlines and posts for maximum effect. She will also be able to answer some of your questions as you delve into the blogosphere.

I have a question. The last class blogs are all listed. Some blogs are listed on “Hall of Fame” blogs. What does one have to do to be on the hall of fame? I thought it was to be keeping your blog updated. I have. So what is wrong with my blog?
There is nothing “wrong” with your blog. I am going through all of the last session blogs and commenting on them, bookmarking posts etc. Because it is a bit of a daunting task and I want to be focused, I am tackling 5 blogs a day. That way I will have all of the famers listed two weeks before the next session starts. The only reason that yours is not up there yet is that it starts with a “Y”. You are doing a great job and your blog will be in the Hall of Fame shortly!
Your hall of fame is going to be huge after a while Bean!

Congratulations on both sides… To Anita for getting the title and promotion to a job she already does very well as a student — finding answers to everyone else’s questions and visiting with comments all the newly-posted blogs. And to Bean for improving an already remarkable class in learning to blog and do it well. Having Anita to share the load will be a tremendous addition, Bean. I’m having a second go-round with the class, simply because there was soooo very much in your content that I simply had to skim over, due to time. (I can only imagine the time commitment on your part.)

Hi all – I forgot to check back here for responses. It would be nice if there was one of those links to our email when a comment is posted.
Anita and Barb, I will be back here too. I have recommended the class to several people. I hope one of them shows up. I already have a bunch of questions. I was sick all of July – boring – so did not get done all that I had hoped.
I figure this class is the best bargain going so it would be a sin not to take it again. So much to do and learn.

Hey! That’s great news, Anita! I know you’ll be a great support for the class. I am taking pixel art and I have found out that I can barely handle one class at a time. So I won’t see you this time but maybe I will in the future.
What a great idea! I’ll have to add the class to my list to do again when I’ve got time. It was fun…but a lot of work and I stupidly was taking TWO classes.
