About Hillary
Hillary majored in art at the University of Oklahoma, as well as private studies with an accomplished European artist. For the past 40 years her forte has been oil paintings, ranging from landscapes/seascapes/cityscapes to florals, still life and portraits. She has also worked with watercolors and acrylics.
She has written several innovative tutorials dealing with the artistic elements of PhotoImpact and has been an avid PI user since version 4 was released and has been a Beta Tester for Ulead. Hillary also has done many websites for friends and clients, as well as designing logos. Her present Web Design Program is Front Page 2000.
She is retired from a varied career ranging from advertising & copywriting, corporate and financial public relations, point-of-purchase display advertising, computer sales as well as Administrative/Office Manager & Production Manager, proofreader & instructor in a variety of fields from medical and engineering to law, just to name a few. She began using computers in 1978 while working for a top PR firm in Los Angeles. She’s also been a disk jockey…LOL
Her hobbies include: painting, digital art, website design, photography, writing, sewing, needlepoint, crochet and handcrafts, gourmet cooking, and reading.
She is a single mother of two and has three grandchildren. She has lived on the island of Oahu in Hawaii for 25 years since moving from Los Angeles. Her greatest joy is in sharing her knowledge with others.
