May 29th, 2011 lvs

Digital Painting with PainterI have been painting with Corel® Painter for a number of years and decided to teaching the software a few years ago. It is a delight and pleasure to help others learn this somewhat complicated piece of software and enable their artistic flare to shine through. I’m always inspired by my students and enjoy seeing them grow and improve in their art.
Some students are a natural at painting, and some have to work hard at it, but all in all, they produce very fine work as is evidence by some of their art posted on my blog. I am currently teaching five classes and in the not too distant future, two or three classes in Corel® Painter 12 aptly named Digital Art with Corel® Painter.

Hillary Sadur personifies “Having Fun While You Learn”!

February 28th, 2009 lvs

Hillary Sadur If you’re looking for entertainment AND a great education, particularly in art, Hillary Sadur personifies “Having Fun While You Learn” in online classes!

She really tries to encourage the beginner as well as gently break bad habits that students might have, i.e., wrong placement of shadows, etc.

Sketchpad - boatsSince she lives in Hawaii, she is able to gift her students with virtual leis and tropical drinks as rewards or after a critique.  She’s honest in her critiques, yet respects the sensitivity of each student.  One more thing is that if she doesn’t know the answer to a student’s question, she’ll research and get an answer.   She gives her students a lot of latitude in expressing themselves artistically, as well as encouraging them to find their own style.

In addition to her Digital Art, Digital Art Beyond the Basics and Digital Art Studio courses, Hillary also teaches PhotoImpactX3 as well as Astrological Card Reading (presently on hiatus until she is once again settled back in Hawaii after moving from GA :)

Hillary enjoys teaching digital art and would love to see you in one of her online classes in the upcoming March session!
