Anyone can come up with a design that works well and looks good. All it takes is a little practice and a working knowledge of some basic layout principles. With the new Introduction to Web Desgin online class, you will soon have the foundation necessary to design high quality web sites!
For most people, the most difficult part of the design process is getting started. This online course is designed to provide the necessary skills and training for designing a website using a graphics program. Students will learn the principles of web design to create or modify a current site. This online class focuses on layout, texture, typography, imagery, color and creating a final composition that will be critiqued by your peers in the class. Students need to be familiar with a graphics program (such as Photoshop or PSP) and have basic skills in HTML in order to post work to a website. At the end of this online class, students will have a completed composition and understand the concepts of web design and how to apply them to build a high-quality design.
