This Word 2007 Online course is a basic level course that will take you from no word processing experience at all, to understanding what Microsoft Word 2007 is, how it works, and most importantly, to discovering how and what it can do for you. No previous word processing experience or knowledge of earlier versions of Microsoft Word is needed.
You will learn how Microsoft Word 2007 can save you time and make creating documents fun. We will look at basic skills such as inserting, editing and embellishing type, and saving your document. As well as how to insert tables, create a table of contents, use and create templates and send mass mailings using the mail merge feature.
This course is designed for the beginner as well as anyone that wants to increase their knowledge of Microsoft Word 2007, especially if you work in an office where upgrading is inevitable.

Christine received a Masters of Science in Education from the Applied Technology, Training and Development department at the University of North Texas. She worked for the Boy Scouts of America at their National Headquarters in Irving, TX as a Curriculum Development Specialist teaching adult employees how to use a variety of software programs including Microsoft Office applications. She also worked part-time as an adjunct faculty member at two of the local junior colleges in Dallas, TX, teaching Microsoft Office software courses. In 2002, she chose to follow along and support her husband when he was offered a job in Wisconsin and has been freezing ever since. She enjoys spending as much time as possible outside with her two children and dog, volunteering at her children’s school, working part-time at the local YMCA and sewing.
